About the Position
Cowra Council is seeking a highly motivated and suitably qualified applicant to fill the position of Ganger - Roads Construction within the Roads Construction department of Council.
The position of Ganger - Roads Construction is primarily responsible for the supervision of Council's Roads Construction Team. It is preferred that the successful applicant has experience in all aspects of Road Construction (eg. Road Building, Road Recycling, Road Maintenance, Pipe Laying, Utility Subdivision and Shoulder Widening). The position is responsible for contributing to the delivery of the Roads Works Program and allocated projects within time and budget constraints. The incumbent will ensure that all aspects of Work Health and Safety and Council policies and standards are strictly adhered to.
The successful applicant should be physically fit and understand the importance of WHS and EEO. A ‘can do’ work ethic and ability to work positively within a team are essential.
